A fire broke out in the Coker unit of the LyondellBasell refinery at 100 Lawndale, in Houston Friday morning. CIMA crews arrived to assist LyondellBasell's Emergency Resonse Team and the blaze was extinguished. Thick, black smoke was visible south of the Houston Ship Channel and a Shelter in Place order was briefly in effect, however no injuries were reported.

There was no impact to the Galena Park community.
